Overall

Energy Development is a fancy name for Victor, his brother and the guys they pull off of the street. He presents very professional when you meet him but the quality of the work is terrible. Victor really does not know what he is doing and will just freeze up when you ask questions. do yourself a favor and find someone who knows what they are doing. Of you are going to hire victor, ask for references and make sure he did the same kind of work for them you are looking for. Victor may be great at installing gutters or siding but never, ever let him do work inside of your house.

Overall

Bottom Line: I can honestly say that this has been the worst experience of my life. Because all of the issues are so unbelievable and to be fair to Victor, you will be able to judge his work for yourself. I'll be posting pictures at victorniloreviews.com and victorniloreviews.net.

I could go on for days but here are the highlights:

BAIT & SWITCH - Victor low balled his quote and tried to come in and get money for changes that were not changes. Be careful, he will also try and sneak things past you on paperwork. READ EVERYTHING!!!!!

Victor is NEVER there - Victor is NEVER on the jobsite!!! He doesn't supervise anything and he basically hires daylaborers to do everything. He constantly missed meetings and everytime I went to the house, his guys were sitting around talking.

Everything Had to be done TWICE - Since Victor was never there, things had to constantly be redone causing materials and labor to be wasted.

Electrician NOT LICENSED!! - Permits have electrician's license who never stepped foot in the house but Victor paid to use the license, Pepe who did the work does not have a license. Many, many issues with improper grounding, labeling and cabling costing thousands to correct

Plumbing cost 50% more than budget - Gas lines run to wrong location ($3000 to correct), PSEG not contacted about job causing 2 month delay in project, brand new bathroom leaks into ceiling below, toilet in wrong location, Existing Floor drain in basement removed, sink handles turn in wrong direction, gas lines above ceilings left loose/movable, ice maker line not run in brand new kitchen (had to use retrofit kit),

HVAC - FAKE VENTS! Ceilings were closed in the basement before ducts were run. Vents were cut in but not attached to anything. Really, I have pictures if you want proof. In another brand new room, all the walls and ceiling were closed with no vents at all so instead of having air distributed, it is all come out of one side wall.

Carpenter didn't own a level - Solid wood doors thrown away and replaced with cheap Home Depot doors that don't fit (Victor said it would be too hard to sand/paint the old doors), Nothing in the house is straight. Brand new walls, floors and ceilings are not straight or level. scrap wood used to replace hardwood boards in floors.

Radiant Floors DON'T WORK - Temperature sensors not installed under floor so thermostat/heaters do not work

Tilework is a DISASTER - Overall terrible work that you have to see to believe. I'll post pictures, tiles cracking before move in, floor separating, mis-measured tiles, cuts not straight, wrong grout color.

WRONG Materials/Supplies/Equipment - Victor is apparently not capable of planning so what he basically tried to build my house with whatever he found on the shelf at Home Depot each morning. In some cases he even spent more money because he didn't order what I asked.
