Dr. Broome is a wonderful veterinarian. She cares about your little for babies. She still has to make a living. But she will work with you to help take care of your babies.

Provided by SuperpagesA small clinic, not a showcase of dcor, but what it lacks in divine aesthetic appearance, it makes up with quality, compassion, expertise and the appreciation for the client. DR. Broome and her staff will go the extra mile for her Family (she treats her Clients like Family), She is well versed in her trade and charges a modest fee, unlike most clinics that are concerned with money over Client and the animals, she puts client and animals first. The Best Vet on the Coast and maybe in Mississippi.

Dr. Broome and all her staff are excellent animal care-givers, as well as people care-givers. Dr. Broome helped my dog, Paulie, through a serious paralysis of the hind quarters. Thanks to her dedication and free-of-charge laser treatments, Paulie is now walking and doing very well. Dr. Broome also helped me through a very difficult decision when we found out that my other dog, Petey, had a massive stomach tumor that was undetectable through x-rays. Dr. Broome counseled me through the process and possibilities. My Sweet Pete, sadly, passed away, but Dr. Broome's team helped me tremendously through the whole process. I will never use any other veterinary clinic (unless an after-hours emergency occurs). Dr. Broome consistently makes herself available via text and phone, personally to assuage my fears and doggy-anxieties.
My sweet kitty is currently in the hospital with them. They have been kind, informative and just overall great. They have kept the doors open past their closing time to allow me to visit my sweet kitty. They have been great in such a traumatic situation.
Best ever! I highly recommend Dr. Broome and her wonderful, compassionate staff to anyone to care for your fur babies! Words cannot describe how amazing this clinic is! That says a lot- considering I do not leave recommendations or reviews for hardly anything!!
Dr. Broome saved my very beloved dog’s life! My dog was bit by a brown recluse spider and then developed a MRSA infection. This hind leg wound was a tremendous undertaking, that took the very acute Veterinary skills of Dr. Broome multiple times a week and then months to heal. The wound was so deep we nearly saw hip bone and Dr. Broome plugged on through with care and never lost faith. At times, she and her staff became my support when I felt overwhelmed. I found Dr. Broome’s treatment smart and practical. I am a therapist so I am always scrutinizing medical care. I have never even had to entertain a concerned thought as to the decisions Dr. Broome has made on my pets care. She does not up-sell for expensive medication and products. She is very easy to talk to and ensures you understand the treatment plan for your four-legged babies. She keeps late hours on Tuesday, which is very helpful for those that work. Her staff is phenomenal and Sherry at the front desk is a magician…I truly don’t know how she keeps it all straight. I have been to many Vets and can tell the difference between Veterinarians that truly care and those that focus on getting your pet in and out as expensively as possible. I can tell you without doubt that Dr. Broome and her staff are the most compassionate group of individuals I have ever met since being a pet owner! I will ONLY use Dr. Broome! All of my local family ONLY uses Dr. Broome! Everyone I have recommended Dr. Broome to, now ONLY uses Dr. Broome. Coast Veterinary Hospital is the easiest recommendation I could make to any pet owner on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

She also does not give you a laundry list of unnecessary procedure and meds for you pets. Other vets around the area are out for your money, Dr. Broome on the other hand cares about your pets and you.

Dr.J.Broome,Is the Most Compassionate Person,I Have EVER Met .Not Only to Animals But to Humans Also! I adopted a Canine Companion In Ms. I was on Vacation.I am from MetroWest,Boston,Ma. She Has Been Helping Me with My Dog Shay,I adopted in Gulfport Ms.at H.S.S.M. She is heartworm Positive.The Dr's up here,Dont know what the heck they are doing! And Admit,that She Has More knowledge than any Vet Up here could possibly have,for Heartworm Disease! I Feel she Knows More than they know Period! She is Helping me more almost 2,000 miles away,than this Animal Hopspital here! She is texting and calling,me back,and keeping me hopeful,and Positive! I cannot express my gratitude enough towards this wonderful person,Dr.Jaqueline Broome,is going above and beyond,ANY Other Dr.I have ever seen,or Heard Of,so,if you want a Superb Dr./Vet,She is the One! The review below about the cat is totally incorrect. Dr Broome has been CLEARED of any wrong doing by THE MISSISSIPPI STATE BOARD OF VETERINARY MEDICINE, PETA AND NUMEROUS HUMANE SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS. The information is totally incorrect!!!!!!!!!

Provided by SuperpagesThis is a very very good veterinary hospital. I would recomend them to anyone. We have only had good experiences with this clinic. They perform their tasks to the highest standards, while trying to keep the costs under control.
I highly recommend this clinic. The vet and her staff are very caring and take excellent care of any animal in their care. I have had over 25 dogs/cats spayed/neutered with the low cost spay/neuter program. I had excellent results. If I had a question or concern it was tended to. All my animals were well tended to. I continue using this clinic.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!! Our family cat was part of their low-cost spay/neuter program, and they absolutely butchered him! Without asking, or telling us anything, they "removed" almost almost half of his left ear to mark him as an "altered" animal. ( This is only supposed to be done on feral cats - this is a beloved family pet! Also, they are only supposed to "notch", or "tip" the ear; they cut-off almost half of his ear! ) In addition to this, even though they knew he was an indoor/outdoor cat, they cut his nails way back - past the "pink part" on some of them. They sent our poor, little guy home covered in blood, without so much as an "Oops, sorry". Please think twice before bringing your animal companions to this horrible place! These people are barbaric butchers! PS : I REALLY wish I could post a pic - it is heart-rending ;-<

The individual who posted these slanderous comments not only did not own the cat but had already had a cat done on this program exactly as this one was operated on. The cat was not a family pet, an authorization was signed by this person for permission to perform an ear tip, and the cat was mostly non-handlable which is why we could not clean up the blood spatters in the cage typical of the procedure. She viciously attacked all members of this organization verbally and on the internet. PETA, various humane societies, and the Mississippi Board of Veterinary Medicine all exonerated all parties involved when evidence was produced to confirm the facts. The cat was fine by the next day according to the rightful owner who had no problem with the procedure. Anyone who would like to see the evidence of no wrong doing is welcome to contact us so we may clear any question about our professionalism and integrity. We have assisted numerous groups with spay neuter programs and performed over 8000 surgeries for poor and needy areas and this is the only complaint though unfounded we have ever had with such false accusations attached to it. Please review facts before making judgements as it takes few words by a malicious person to wreck a much needed program that has only done what that individual requested us to do. Thank you for your attention.
