The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was not informed of any policy before paying and when we had a family emergency we tried to move the dates back. We weren't even asking for a refund!! Talked to about 5 different people before finally speaking with a manager. They were all extremely rude and the manager was supposed to speak with the owner and call me back... 2 hours later I call back and they are closed!! What a joke.

Where do I begin? Poole & Associates - seem to be nice, but lied and not dependable. Said the unit had a great view (the view was of a private pier with bright lights all night). They stated the condo was "one of the best they had", which I know to be a lie and "promised" it was nice. Then they tacked on an additional $305.18 - 6 fees, (for only four nights) ON TOP of $716 for rent. When the first part of their information you receive (AFTER you book the unit) says (in bold and underlined) "Absolutely NO refunds are given for complaints at check-out" - red flag!! DON'T USE POOLE & ASSOCIATES. The Owners - the following did not work: lights in entrance and hallway, the REFRIGERATOR, garbage disposal, garbage (can't open it), kitchen cabinet falling apart and closet doors didn't work. Pots and pans in the kitchen were rusty and old. The dining table (which should accommodate 6 people) was so small my lap top barely fit. The small 19" TV is not adequate for the living room, even though the room was small. The tacky old décor looks like items left over from a yard sale. Very little hot water. The only bedroom was not on the ocean side but in the back of the unit by the front door. The only bathroom was very small and not functional. The building was old, run down, and not kept up. The building would NOT pass city code, for example - an electric plug behind the kitchen faucet, rusty lighting, and poorly added electrical wiring. THE WORST PART was the A/C. The condo does not have central A/C but instead the old wall units found in older hotels. (Look closely at the unit photos.) They are loud. You can't sit on the small balcony because the back of the unit blows hot air out and is so loud you can't hear the ocean, so you have to turn the A/C off if you want to go to the balcony. We have gone to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach twice a year for over 20 years. This is the worst unit we have ever stayed in. DO NOT STAY AT EMERALD SKYE 54 OR USE POOLE ASSOCIATES.
