Afro Touch Hair Braiding

When i callef to make an appointment with the salon i was told i didnt need to supply my own hair but once i arrived i was told i had to go back out and purchase my own hair becuz they only had two packs of hair left so i was charged for the two packs of hair plus the plus 12$ for the two packs of hair they used and the amouth it costed me outta pocket for the multiple packs of hair than they used my hair products on other clients.

2nd the managerof the shop assigned a new girl to do my braids who had never done the kind of braids i had wanted before.

3rd after 5mins of hair braiding the salo manager than took the new employee and told her to start doing someone else's hair and assigned some other employee to do my braids who started parting my hair much bigger in the middle to cover up and finish fast.and after the new employee finished her other client she returned to my head but by than three people had performed work on my braids.i went off about their service's and not to mention i sat their for 12 hours and was charged almost 300.00.after this horrible experience i learned how to do my own braids.but now i see they have a commercial ppl please dont go to this salon. Iam a nice person and its really hard to set me off but this did it. Plus the manager is a theif and a scam artist....smdh.i would have hated to give this shop only one start be cuz the only person who was kind to me was the new employee(but i forgot to mention not only did she get a small percentage of the profit the salon managet also makes her do hard labor).i would refer my dog to this shop

I went to afro touch to get my Senegalese twist done, after I talked to Claudia on the phone. She was very helpful and very professional, and actually helped me get my hair done after hours. Al though they started my hair around 6 pm on a Sunday, the job was beautiful and so fast because I got out of there before midnight! I guess I was lucky they put two people on my head. I'll go back when I decide to get my hair done again! I am so happy with their service !!!

i have been there lately to have hair done and was pretty please with the result.

i was amazed by their customer service starting when i booked my appointment with miss claudia.

i suggest that anyone come by and witness the quality of their work and customer services.

This is the worse braiding salon that I have ever experienced. First, they failed to listen to my request regarding the type of hairstyle that I wanted. Since, I had sat around their salon waiting until evening, it was too late buy more hair for the style I wanted and they had already begun taking down the braids. As a result, they braided my hair using the mircrobraid technique. Within days, the braids began to fall out. At first, I thought it would only be the few that had fallen out so I was not alarmed. Soon (Within a couple of weeks) the braids began to literally fall out by the fist fulls! By the third week, I called them and to my dismay, they said that they had a FIVE (5) day policy. I had five days to return to the salon and after that even though it was less than 30 days, they do not stand behind their work!



I had thrown away most of the braids that fell out as they came out in the worst places such as on the floor of my office, in the chair that I sat in, in front of coworkers, etc... not only was it frustrating, it was embarssaing!



I brought the ELEVEN (11) braids that I kept to the salon to show them and still they refused to work with me. If it could happen to me, it could happen to anyone. Do yourself a favor and stay AWAY from this awful service!!! You too could have your braids falling out and looking bad in less than thirthy (30) days afterwards!!!
