Having lived in NC, GA, FL, TX, VA, and now IN, we have attended many, many wonderful churches, but none compares to MPCC. If you want a church who truly lives the Great Commission...this is it. If you want to be a part of the Body of Christ... this is it. Get involved with a Home Group. And, if you want perfect? This is not it... because each one of us is merely a flawed disciple of Jesus Christ, saved by His grace, for His purposes. If you, too, are imperfect, you will fit right in. My husband and I visited for the first time this past Sunday. We have been looking for a church after moving here recently. We were so impressed by the caliber of teaching by the senior pastor. It was obvious that he has a strong conviction to preach the truth of scripture. We both have degrees in Biblical studies and really appreciated how carefully he interpreted the texts and explained them in a way that was easy to understand and apply. To us (we are younger) the worship was stylistically more traditional with contemporary touches but was done with excellence and we appreciated that the set wasn't narcissistic lyrically. It was a great blend of contemporary songs and a couple of older tunes. It was easy to find the nursery for our baby and felt that the care was excellent. We will be back and may make this our home church!
