Dr. John Coble is an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and Therapeutic Optometrist. He is a Past President of the Greenville Rotary Club, United Way of Hunt County Past President, Medicare Carrier Advisory Board, and is the Past President of the Texas Optometric Association. Dr Coble was named 2004 Optometrist of the Year for the state of Texas by the Texas Optometric Association and Optometrist of the Year by the American Optometric Association. Dr Coble is Chairman of the American Optometric Association Meeting Center Executive Committee He was honored with the 2005 Distinguished Alumnae of the Year from the University of Houston College of Optometry and he presented the commencement speech at graduation in 2005. An Adjunct assissant professor at UH and A Fellow in the American Academey of Optometry Dr Coble has lectured and has authored articlesfor journals. "Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry"
