Overall
Beware of company they are liars and will rip you off. Don't stand behind word

Recently purchased a home. When my inspector looked over the place the heat/ac did not work at all. So naturally I asked the seller to have the heat/ac unit repaired by a professional company and certify that it was working properly. Pitt Heating and Air came out and stated it was low on Freon and added Freon to the unit (btw it is a heat pump). As most people would be I was skeptical that the unit may leak. The certified the unit was not leaking at all and that it was working properly and even provided me a receipt that stated it was working very well. I felt a little security from this considering it was my first home purchase. 2 weeks later I closed on the property and moved in. I moved in on a Saturday and Sunday I noticed the heating unit was struggling to keep the temp. I was new to a heat pump system and thought maybe it was normal for it to run all the time. On that Monday I got home and it was on Aux heat and could not keep temp. Now, I bought a warranty with this property but since this company just came out and serviced it I figured "hey you know what let’s give them a shot to come out here and work on it since they were just here about 2-3 weeks ago. They scheduled an appointment with me to come out after 5 the next day. At 5:30 the next day no one showed up. I called them and they wanted me to leave a key under my matt so they could come look at it the next day. Keep in mind I just moved in and it is about 60 degrees in my house in December. I advised them I really needed them to come check it out that night and they finally got someone there at 7:00 at night (2 hours after my appointment). The guy that showed up spent 2 hours looking over the unit and made phone calls to a friend to determine what was wrong. He said I needed to have a new Expansion Valve and he would have to order it and let me know the cost. I explained to the technician I just got the place and they certified it was working properly prior to me moving in. He said he would talk to the owner and see what he could do. He called me 30 min after leaving my house and told me it would cost $834 to replace the part. I then called my warranty company and they sent out a company Central Heating and Air. Their technician came out and said it looks like you have too much Freon in the unit. He removed the Freon and it works perfectly. I had to pay this other company $75.00 through my warranty to come out and remove Freon that Pitt Heating and Air put in the unit. After further research and look it up for yourself if you add too much Freon to a heat pump system is can cause the "expansion valve to become damaged or freeze". Welp that’s what occurred. Naturally like most people you are thinking wow this company tried to charge me for a part they didn’t need to replace, they probably caused the damage as well. So I called this company and spoke to the owner, Syed. He wanted to argue with me and told me I was lied to by the other company and that they could've removed the Freon but didn't because it wasn't the issue and he refused to pay my $75.00 deductible that I had to pay to my warranty provider to fix his companies error. I have since contacted all the realtors in our area that I know which is ALOT and they are aware of my experience and advised me they were horrified to hear about my experience with them and they would begin to look elsewhere for service. My previous roommate had issues with them placing a foreign made capacitor on his unit that continuously broke and he eventually had to hire another company as well and they replaced the part with an American made capacitor and hasn't had an issue since then (this company still tried to charge him for broken capacitors that broke within days of each other and they didn’t have time to come out and replace...
