Parkewood Kennels

DO NOT USE THIS KENNEL!! Dan knowingly took in a sick dog and allowed it around the other dogs. Both of my dogs had diarrhea for days. The pads on their feet were red and swollen and I had to bathe them multiple times to get the smell out. Then when I complained, it was like he was expecting my phone call! He knew the kind of care he gave my dogs and issued a full refund!! I asked everyday how they were doing, and he said they were fine. On the day I went to pick them up, he said my lab had diarrhea for three days!! Unacceptable, unprofessional, and highly not recommended.

If you could ask a dog and he or she could tell ya, they would say Parkewood Kennels is a pretty nice place to stay. Rose is knowledgable, honest, trustworthy and knows her stuff when it comes to dogs. She has been in business for over 40 years at the same facility. That really says it all. Set in her ways, yes. A grouch, no. A Dr. in Pharmaciticals and knows her medications. Ready to help you with any pet concerns. Always the same prices, $15.00 and $18.00 per size. 68 seperate concrete inside and outside runs. Lives at same address. Call for boarding needs.

These are wonderful people and really knowtheir stuff!!! Overall a WONDERFUL experience! They really put their hearts into what they do!

We tried this place and were sorry we did, but we booked late and could not get date we needed at other kennels. It is very dirty and has terrible odor. The owner is rude and patronizing, acts like it's a bother to answer questions about the routine there. Hated to leave my dog. Book early someplace else or stay home so you don't get stuck with this old grouch!
