He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, and his law degree from Emory University, Atlanta, GA. During his years of practice, he has served as a regional director of the Minnesota Alumni Association, the Examiner of Titles for Brown County, Minnesota, and as a member of the Minnesota State Board of Legal Certification. He has also managed a bank trust department. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and its Probate and Trust Law Section; the Pima County Bar Association; the Southern Arizona Estate Planning Council; the Minnesota State Bar Association and its Probate and Trust Law Section; and the State Bar of Georgia.
