I came to Visit Dr Teyyaba Ahmed bc I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I wanted to know how to best prepare my body for delivery. She offered so much knowledge and insight on the subject. I left feeling so well informed and prepared for whats to come. She spent a lot of time listening and addressing all my concerns. I really felt like as a provider she cared about my health, and wanted the best outcome for me! One of my best experiences with a doctor prenatal so far!

Took me from a situation where I felt aweful with no hope to the exact opposite in a short amount of time. Couldn't be happier!

Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine is an excellent treatment center. After much frustration with my previous providers, Pelvic Rehabilitation helped me identify and effectively deal with my pelvic pain where my previous providers didn't.

Many doctors had dismissed my pain as a result of scar tissue from a long passed surgery. Dr. Ahmed discovered the sources of the pain, treated them, helped me find the right physical therapist and managed communication between my other doctors and my new physical therapist.

My quality of life has greatly improved and I have her to thank.

I have been experiencing levator ani pan for over 30 years. I have been to over 5 doctors but it was only diagnosed 5 years ago. I had numerous treatments, including botox and valium and physical therapy.
I found Dr Ahmed through a GOOGLE search. I live 30 minutes away from her office but she is the only doctor who specializes in pelvic floor disorder on Long Island. She understood, completely my symptoms, and has a 6 week program for me and I am starting to be spasm free!
It is amazing that I found her an d I am eternally grateful.

Dr. Ahmed has deep knowledge of her specialty. She understands the effects of meds she prescribes and is patient when explaining it to patients with no background in medicine. She gives homework which needs to be followed - she is firm but I need someone even stricter so I commit. Glad she is careful and thoughtful with my prescription. Thank you.
