Missouri River Manor

I would NOT recommend this facility. When my mother went in to the transitional part for a short term stay, the room had carpet stained and sticky (shoes were sticking to the carpet) of urine. The nursing staff, on the short term care side, did not give good medical care. They combine the short term with long term. These two are different areas and should have separate staff. The nurse on duty one morning during Mom's stay did not watch her and Mom went into a coma......to make a 4 hour standoff short, Mom ended up with her first heart attack, first allergic reaction to a med she had been taken for years, life support, etc! All in one day. The director of med and his side kick, nurse practitioner, do NOT care about their patients. They have TWO nursing homes they are over PLUS a practice! Averaging over 500 people being treated by them. This happening to Mom, caused her death in the end as she just could not recover from the damage to her organs. STAY AWAY!!!
