Excavation
A gravel drainage system under the slab connected to a battery back up sump pump system is an ideal way to ensure a dry basement. The same interior drain system can be installed in an older home where excavation for waterproofing is just not possible. Window Installation/Replacement
Let Murrell’s take care of your waterline and sewerline penetrations. A polyurethane injection system is the most advanced way to seal a waterline or sewerline. Don’t seal the area with rigid hydraulic cements that will separate as soon as the line is used or the temperature changes nor do you want to fill them with unreliable foams that are made for caulking windows and doors. Call Murrell’s first to have the areas sealed and guaranteed.
Gutters
The gutters for the roof system can disperse a large amount of water along the foundation. It is very important that the gutters are cleaned out and not over flowing at the edge of the house. Additionally the gutter down spouts should be extending at least 10 feet from the house. The gutter downspouts can be extended with corrugated pipe or many other extension options available at your local do it yourself store.

Masonry
Murrell’s Coating is a modified asphalt emulsion enhanced with polymer and other additives for increased installation thickness. The product has outstanding adhesion to concrete and a low vapor permeance. Murrell’s Coating is designed for spray application to the below grade exterior of masonry and poured foundations. It can also be used for cavity wall applications.
