        Peppermint Stick Pre-School is a DCFS licensed child care and pre-school center with locations in Grayslake and Round Lake, IL. Our staff provides children developmental care as well as frequent attention, in a safe, playful environment. Your little one will socialize with other children while actively participating in a well rounded and enriching program. We accept students between 15 months and 12 years old. We're a family owned and operated school that provides: • Full day care • Preschool • Kindergarten • Before and after school care • Summer camp Our preschool program blends prescribed educational activities with opportunities for free choice, which allows children to explore a varied, but structured environment. We teach such programs as language arts, rhythm, social skills, science, math, communication, and fine and gross motor activities. Peppermint Stick's aim is to prepare your child for his or her first years of school and create positive, socially active behaviors during these critical years.         Great Teachers, loving environment!

        Peppermint Stick took care of my children for 4+ years. The Teachers truly care about my children. My kids are always made to feel special and important. Besides providing them with a love of learning and meeting all their basic needs, I always feel we are more than just a customer. I hear sad stories from my friends or neighbors how their child's teachers are always changing or they can't talk to anyone who can make a real decision regarding policy right away. I always share how professional and personable everyone is at Peppermint and if you can find a small family owned school like I have you'd be happy too!
