Don't go!! The service is terrible and the over priced food is marginal at best. They charge $1.50 for a bottle of water, up charge you $3.99to change from fries to chips and charge a $1.00 for extra salad dressing. The appetizers were overpriced. Stay away from the chips smothered in beer cheese sauce. We waited about fifteen minutes to get silverware after our food was delivered and this was not a busy night. In fact there were only about three tables in use. Drinks were over priced and the servers were mor interested in talking with each other than taking care of the customers. After requesting separate checks in the beginning our server said she could not separate the checks. Stay away there are much better places on the Lake to eat.

My experence with Tap and Grlll was horendous to put it mildly. From the aggervated demeaor of the hostess to the almost countless times it took to get the check right. Everything in between was less than hospitable. When I enter a restaurant i expect the first face I see to be welcoming and amicable. My family and friends were treated like misogynists at a feminist rally. I'm sorry you were busy, but this is the service industry. SERVE being the key word. I assume my large party was difficult to seat, but why should I make excuses for you. Once we were seated, our servor hurried our drink orders. We were peeved when only half were the right drink. Once the simple issue of beverage placement was rectified, we were less than enthused at the overly weak alcoholic drinks. I also came to undestand that you charged members of my party for their waters. You would think with the over priced food, worries of profit margin wouldn't have to be a big concern. Certainly not enough to charge your patrons for tap water. When this issue was brought to the servors attention, he seemed upset. The problem was he was upset that he and the bartender had to remake drinks. He retreated away with an eye roll and a mumbled gruff of discontent. With the food prices being higher than other restuarants in the area we were optimistic that the taste would match the cost. We were sadly wrong. Member(s) of my party received the wrong item and others were served cold meals. The general consensus after this problem was handled that the food was mediocre at best. After having the bill changed numerous times to what we actually ordered, we asked to speak to a manager. After waiting almost twenty minutes we decided it wasn't worth it. The sour taste in my mouth as we left wasn't from the food, but from the epitome of poor food service. As a former service employee, I always thought that a large party willing to spend hundreds of dollars was where I needed to work my hardest. I think some new resturant training methods would go a long way for your moody hostess, ill mannered servor, rookie bartender, lackluster kitchen, and clueless managers. Unfortunately, you will never have a second chance with me or any memeber of my party. I only hope this review will make the restaurant going experience for your future patrons tolerable
