From the Bay Area & Sacramento, head east on I-80 toward Reno/Lake Tahoe. Bypass the “Hwy 49 to Grass Valley” exit. Stay on I-80 East and take exit #135 in Colfax to Hwy 174 / Grass Valley. Follow the “Hwy 174” signs, making a sharp 15 mph left at “Giovanni’s – Shady Glen Bar & Grill”. From there, go exactly 8 miles & turn left on “Meadow View Drive”. Drive to the top of the hill & you’re there! All three retreats
