Gold Country Express Lube & Car Wash

Took my pickup truck in for an oil change in 2017 and a few months later all the oil drained out and the engine froze. Mechanics at Foothill Car Care found the filter had worked loose and was caught in the undercarriage. Gold Country had installed the wrong size filter on my truck. It cost me over $5,000 for a rebuilt engine. Will never go to Gold Country Express for any kind of service.

These guys are the best went there for an oil change and they checked everything. Even Adjusted my tires and checked my transmission fluid.

I've been coming to your store for the past few months you guys to work. The only complaint I have is your manager Tyler. That's why I gave you one star. Last week I was in your store twice with my own truck and my daughters car. I was outside watching your crew working on my truck, I noticef a big guy was on his phone. He was just standing there looking like he was playing something on his phone. I ask one of the employees who he is and he said that is the manager. I made no big deal of it because I presume he was on his phone that was work related. I came back with my daughters car and I was outside watching your crew working on her car and I noticed the same guy again on his phone. While I was watching him and your crew, he didn't help any of his employees working on my car or the other cars pulling up to the store. I think that's really unprofessional of him and just rude. Get a manager who leads by example and help your emplyees!! I'm still coming to your store because your crew does excellent work. It's just sad that their manager is lazy.

Great service at this shop. Most shops don't check the cabin air filters. The dealership I went to wanted to charge me $49.00 to change it. Gold country only charged me $29.00. You should have thanked them for taking the time to check yours & not flipped out on them.

I took my car there for an oil change and this guy that work's there was under my dash board. When I asked what he was doing, he said. I am changing your cabin filter. I flipped out, because it was changed at the dealership not to long before taking it for an oil change. I was pissed off. The guy didn't say anything about wanting to check it out prior to me entering their shop. Then the other car's that were ready. They would lock the door's with the window down. The reason. To see if the car alarms would sound off. They were laughing when they would go off. You will never , ever see me again. And. That's a fact.
