Brandy is not just any psychiatrist. I hit a struggle in my life were depression had taken ahold of me not just mentally and emotionally, but it physically took control. I was so full of anger and sadness that I was completely fed up. It's not that I didn't want to live, nor even thought about killing myself. But it felt so good just to sleep it all away. But as a full time mother, you have no choice but to get up and keep going. Family and friends persuaded me to at least give a psychiatrist a try. I tried one and well he was either nodding off or crying. Half way thru, I left. Poor guy I think needed to see a psychiatrist himself. Anyways I looked one more time and I found Brandy. First cession I was full of that anger and had all guard up, not wanting to be told any negative. There was none, not from her. Second cessation went about the same. By the third, I started to open up more and it gets better each time. How? Because she really cares about her career, her patients, not just a paycheck. She is so very kind but is firm, not hateful, just to help you understand that you can pull thru your struggle. It takes time, but you can get thru this. Everyone needs guidance once in a while. Don't be afraid. I'm telling you, she helps. Give her a try.
