Plymouth Road Animal Clinic

I was referred to this vet clinic by the owner of the company I work for. He gave them great reviews about his experiences with his personal pets as well as his office cat. I figured for as happy as he was I had to try them out and am I glad I did.

They are so personable and caring, they make you feel like your pet is as important as one of their own. (As far as price, my feelings are this...Most of us don't work for free because we have to pay our bills some how, why should we expect a vet to be any different. They charge prices that are average for the industry in exchange for a very important and good quality service and that is perfect in my opinion) In the 9 years that I have been taking my pets there, I have also turned on many family and friends to this facility whom also now rant and rave about how great Plymouth Roads employees are. Some of us have gone through the loss of a pet from terminal illness problems to old age and never once has this facility held guilt over our heads to make an extra buck. They are so great about providing all options possible at all cost ranges and then supporting what we choose is best for our personal situation. We even got a sweet card from them after our office cat was put down from old age (I mean really old age!) 8 Years later, that extra step that they took to go above and beyond still sticks in my head. Now that is customer service with a heart!

I do understand that others have comment on a bad experience(s) that they have had. I can't comment on that because I don't know their personal situation but I can say for myself and all 10 other people that I personally know that take their pets there, we couldn't be happier. Plymouth Road Vet is a place that is very compassionate, caring, clean and over all and A+ in our book. I hope this review helps you and I suggest that you give them a try, I'd bet you'll love them like we do!

Best place in all of Grand Rapids to take your pet. I saddly had to put my very sick 18 month old kitten to sleep because of his illness. They treat every animal as if it is their own and treat every owner rich or poor with great respect. I will always take my pet to them for care. ^-^
