The quality is sub-par. My kids always have to have retakes. Each year I'm disappointed that I spend more money than you get back in value. The photos have been off-center, my girls are either half smiling, eyes half open, it's always something that I feel could easily be avoided in this digital age! I once chose the Retouching option hoping for better results and they looked ridiculously fake and completely computer-generated. My three girls have all had their Pre-K photos done (two years each) by local, professional, independent photographers for a slightly higher fee and I've never been disappointed. The only reason I continue choosing school photos is for my kids to have class photos to cherish.

Horrible. Would leave zero stars if I could. Paper is cheap crap, images are flat, my daughter's skin is green and the Photoshop line around my son's head is so strong it looks like it was drawn with a marker. If my school district uses Geskus next year I'll be having pictures done elsewhere. It's been 3 months and every time I look at these pictures I get angry that I paid money for this crap.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. My kids' school district chose Geskus this year (we've always had Life Touch before) to try and save parents money, I do appreciate the thought. However the savings for my family was less than $10/child. You get one background choice, the background I wanted was an extra $3, that same background is FREE with Life Touch. Naturally I stayed with the one no extra cost background.

Let's talk quality or lack there of. There are print lines through my child's forehead, he looks super imposed on the background and the wallet sizes look blurry. The paper is glossy and terrible quality and each photo sheet is in a stapled book, which makes cutting out the photos inconvenient. None of those are things that can be fixed with retakes.

I have 2 daughter's, one goes to Jenison and one to Coopersville. They (Geskus) charges more for the same exact package of pictures at Jenison. Total BS!

They did our school pictures. Not only were both off center (one severely), but I had to call them when I received the proof to correct it. They assured me it was fixed and I could order. So I did. Turn around time is 2 weeks per the ordering site. 2 1/2 weeks later I call them and ask where my photos are. They tell me they notice they were off center after printing so they sent them to reprint. Why was I not called? I asked when they would come in. They did not know, the woman on the phone was short, cold, and just shy of being rude.



I am about to cancel my order and do a charge back if they refuse a refund.
