Quaker State Inspection

These guys do good work. I started with oil changes and inspections. Then I asked about a bad water pump on my Durango. He gave me a unbeatable price and said I could buy the part from Autozone or where I wanted, or he could get it and give me the recite for proof of purchase plus $10 for pickup charge. I was skeptical but went ahead. By the time I got back with the part they had the old one off. An hour later they were done. That was 4 years ago and it still works great with no problems. Now I send my newly licensed son there alone and trust he wont get screwed. They have never lied to me and are very friendly, you just cant ask for more from a mechanic. I'm sure they will make a mistake one day but I will work through it with them because I know it will be a honest mistake and not an choreographed ripoff like most other places run. Best place in the metroplex for prices and service.

yeah they are pretty fast on oil changes and inspections. prices for oil changes are so cheap it makes you think about what is in the oil. Or they could just simply get a bulk rate discount. either way this is my #1 choice in the area due to I live about 5 minutes from there and other shops are way over priced. warning though. DO NOT GO ON WEEKENDS. ITS CROWDED TO THE POINT YOU WILL BE STANDING IN THE PARKING LOT.

When going for an inspection, Mohammad Nijmeh asked for proof of insurance, so I handed him my insurance paper, he went inside and invited me to sit in the waiting area. It was the end of the day, so it may have been a last-minute error, but I've discovered that he gave me a receipt but did not return my insurance paper. My other complaint, which may also be thought of as common knowledge, but the expense was not explained to me when I arrived. I live in a county where an emission test is not required, so I was surprised at the price of the inspection, since it included the emission control inspection along with the regular one. I would like to have known this up front. My sticker was expired, so I did need to get it done, but it should have been my choice. I've tried to call more than once, and they do not pick up their phone, which may just be because they are busy, but I've let it ring for a very long time. I would hope they will be schooled on how to perform a better customer service.
