If I could Family Medicine of Michigan would receive 0 stars.I do not recommend this practice. I was going to transfer to this practice after my doctor retired. It took two months for them to schedule my transfer of care appointment only to be rescheduled. I forgot the date of my rescheduled appointment and called the office only to learn that I missed the appointment. When I told the receptionist I never received a reminder call she said the AUTOMATED SYSTEM said the end user answered and hung up. I restated I never got the call and asked what the next step was and she said "There is no next step you missed your appointment and will not be a patient here". This type of customer service is not acceptable no matter how big a practice is. The end result: I called my old doctor’s office, asked to be transferred to another doctor in the practice and have a transfer of care appointment in a few days. I guess that is what I should have done from the beginning. Live and learn.
