Welcome to The Baker's Wife, our companion store to Village Baker in Spring Lake, MI. The Baker's Wife came about after our founders discovered an underlying theme a multitude of bakeries in Germany. The bakeries there made hundreds of Brötchen (hard rolls), Brezen (pretzels), Kuchen (cakes), Berliners (jelly-filled doughnuts), and pastries and these delicious baked goods were sold in the on-site retail store and were additionally delivered to other annex locations and retail stores in neighboring Städte (towns) and Dörfer (villages).
