Dr. Shanna Chen C.A. has more than 25 year’s clinical experience in both the United States and China. Dr. Chen studied traditional Chinese medicine where she earned her BA. at Cheng Du College in China, and graduated Cum Laude with a M.A. from SAMRA University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles, CA. As a teacher at Sichuan Fuling Medical School, China, Dr. Chen taught Basic Chinese medicine and Acupuncture courses to the medical students. Dr. Chen has been practicing acupuncture since 1982 with 11 years clinical experience in China, 2 years in San Gabriel, and 14 years in the San Fernando Valley where her clinic is located. Dr. Chen has successfully treated thousands of patients with her excellent technique, advanced knowledge of herbal remedies and her intuitive skill for diagnosis. Dr. Chen has utilized all manners of rehabilitation practice in effecting results for prevention of illness, treatment of various medical conditions, including acute localized pain and long term chronic pain, promotion of health and wellbeing, facial rejuvenation, and skin conditions.
