Granada Community Charter

The heart of Granada Elementary is the teachers. Principals come and go, but teachers sometimes stay at one school for their entire careers. Such is the case at Granada. The commitment to the school community is outstanding. Committees are set up and grants are written to provide educational enrichment at an ongoing basis. Students are taught to be independent learners and are instructed in character education. There is mutual respect and understanding throughout the staff and extreme professionalism. Students are encouraged to participate in the arts by making their own videos, performing in plays and playing musical instruments. In addition, parents play an important role in the education of their children and work closely with the teachers.
