At Clark Therapy And Healing, founder Kenya Clark has extensive and diverse experience coupled with premier training. Kenya has been active for 14 years in community social work and mental health services. Kenya began her experience interning as an elementary school counselor. Kenya spent a summer in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico working at an orphanage and assisting in the goal of raising awareness about the crisis of homeless children in Mexico. Since then, she has set her efforts on working with adults struggling with mental illness, addiction, social injustices, overcoming the effects of trauma and most recently administering therapeutic techniques with individuals, children and families in a community medical setting. Kenya received her undergrad and graduate degree from Arizona State University studying social work and psychology. From treating adults in extreme situations to helping those navigating trauma, Kenya has the skills and training to build a healthy and effective therapeutic connection with everyone she works with. Kenyaâ??s unfaltering commitment to serving the individuals, couples, and families who trust and work with her is unparalleled. Kenya loves providing clients with the tools to improve the quality of their lives and optimize their wellbeing. Having witnessed the ins and outs of the therapy, thereâ??s no problem she canâ??t address. Ultimately, Kenyaâ??s passion is giving back to her valued community and seeing the â??light bulbâ?? go off with each cherished patient as they receive treatment to realize and embark down their path to recovery, improvement, and a more fulfilling life.
