New York Nails

Omg... I don't even know where to start. I went into New York nails because the place I usually go to has changed there location , and I didn't have time to try to find it. I go in and I'm imidiately greeted by the owner . I tell him I want a fill in. His employer gets on my nails with his drill which is what's needed to take off gell polish when he was finished I told him I didn't need him to use the drill the second time that he could just file the rest. I guess he didn't understand me so he called the manager over and I had explained to him that I didn't need him to use the drill again. I do this all the time but the manager made a big seen trying to explain the process to me , I told him I do this all the time and why are you trying to argue with me I'm the customer. Listen to what I want. So he moves me to another employee who was doing a rush job on my nails because he was watching a movie which he kept stoping every 2 seconds just to make sure he didn't miss anything that was going to appear on that TV screen and I felt bad for the first employee who as doing my nails because I didn't want him thinking that he did anything wrong . It just sucks when you have a manager who has poor listening skills and communication skills . To top it all off I even tipped the employee and told him thank you and he didn't say anything. Everyone in this establishment is rude. I will never come here again.

I use to go here all the time but I refuse to return again! I've never been so disrespected because I like getting my nails done elsewhere and I go there to get my eyebrows waxed because I like the way the lady does them. I was a frequent customer and I start hesitantly going because I noticed he doesn't listen to what I wanted.....so I stopped getting my nails done but continued for my eyebrows and he asks me "where'd u get ur nails done" I replied with the other nail techs and he in turn asks "so they don't do eyebrows there?" And snatched my card and receipt out my hand....I was infuriated!! I simply said this is my last time they will EVER regard my services and walked out........NEVER AGAIN!!!! Learn some people/communication skills and y'all could possibly have more customers!!

I went to new york nails for my 21st birthday and got a gel set of nails.there were three other customers there but one nail tech. well I don't know if it was because I looked young or was an unfamiliar face or what but when it was my turn he did not give me anywhere near the attentiveness he gave the others. he rushed straight through and even when I complained he was hurting me, he damaged and scratched three nail beds he told me it was my faultimate for getting a gel set fornthe first time! if he had bothered talking to me he would have known I'd been getting my nails done since I was 15 so I do know that gel overlay isn't supposed to burn! absolutely horrible I had such a horrible experience two years later I still tell people not to go here.

Ok first of all im not gone say that i was never pleased with the service(fill-ins ,designs, and pedicures), but the guy that runs it ,own it ,or whatever his deal was has no people or comminication skills.I never had a pleasant visit and i've been going for about four months. I really liked his work but as of june2012 i made that my last visit because i could no longer take Tony's mouth..he is very rude, disrespectful, and does not listen at all.I wouldn't advise anybody that has a low tolerance for a MOUFYMF to go because that's why i will not be returning to new york nails somebody else can and will be getting this money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and that's all i got to say about that..BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
