Farmers Insurance

Rick Rice is possibly the worst Farmers agent in the state of Oklahoma. I have had insurance with him for over 5 years now and have had problem after problem with Farmers Ins that has been the fault of the agent. He is lazy when it comes to work,he's never in his office so if you have a problem, you have 2 choices, call his assistant, who cannot take care of any problems other then paying your bill or call corporate, which is just like any other call center in the U.S. You will be on hold forever before speaking to a live person but they are good at handling problems that the agent should be taking care of.. Rick's most recent mistake has cost me over $1200 in 3 months, which Farmers has assured me that I will be getting most of it back in a refund but would have been avoided if my agent would have corretly done his job. When speaking to Rick about his mistakes he's defensive, acts like he doesn't know what is going on and that it's not his problem!

I would not recommend this agent to an enemy. It is either time for him to retire or start acting like he is a local business owner doing business with local people. I have paid 4 reinstatement fees on 2 vehicles in 2 months now because he mistakenly cancelled the wrong vehicles after I sold 1 truck. If your are looking for Farmers insurance call them direct and ask for a reputable agent in your local area other then Rick Rice....
