Shiraz Restaurant

The environment and food are great, try their shishlik if you're a meet lover. Nicely marinated and cooked. Portion of the food is good, one might say too much, and I had a good experience with their service.
The price is a little above average Persian restaurants but the quality of food makes up for it.

I took my family to this restaurant tonight and I must say I was very disappointed at their customer service. We were denied to be seated while they had 3 empty tables inside only because they were short staffed. This is very unacceptable and I will make sure every one is aware of this. This is not how they should treat their customer and it is sad to say that I will only see this in the middle eastern places and honestly this is the first time ever in my life I had an experience as horrible as tonight.

Great Persian dining. Outdoor and indoor seating and often times indoors they have someone performing Persian music. The servers here are fantastic. They are very attentive and patiently explain the dishes. I myself love their stews like ghormeh sazbi which is chunks of beef with lots of stewed greens. Husband enjoys their barg (flat filet)beef kebab.

I have been in one Armenian restaurant in berkeley and this is the second I have been to. I love all the food they served us .I normally do not eat middle eastern food but this one is an exemption. We all loved the variety of yummy kobbabs and we all had food coma. Our server Laila was so nice !
