Royal Palms Convalescent Hospital

I would have given “half star” to this facility, but there is no half a star sign so I am forced to give it one star.
The patient care at this nursing home is very poor and unprofessional. A family member is at that place so we know the place is unsanitary and there are bed bugs and cockroaches inside the rooms.
We are trying to find a better place so we can remove her from that nasty place as soon as possible.
The management are also very unprofessional, snobs and do not make it their priority to provide good care to the patients.
I am very sorry for the elderly people who are staying at this place. May God help them to rescue all of the patients from there to a better facilities.
This place should be closed down.

This place is absolutely horrifying. I have a family member who use to work in their and has shared some gruesome stories of the everyday life inside this dungeon. The elderly are constantly being physically and verbally abused by the staff members, the staff members refuse to provide necessary water and food to the elderly in order to keep the elderly from using the restroom. The elderly patients are literally suffering and when they either urinate or deficate themselves, the staff members refuse to assist in changing the elderlys clothes. It can take more than 24 to 48 hours before an elderly gets assistance from a staff member to clean and/or change their clothes. When certain staff members attempt to report an employees misconduct of verbal and physical abuse, the managers and/or other staff members immediately threaten the employee with termination and/or physical harm towards the reporting employee speaking against the negligent staff member(s).
