AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

I’ve just recently had my transmission re-built for my 1992 Honda at your Glendale California location and I couldn’t be happier! My overall experience with AAMCO here in Glendale has been nothing but pleasant. The staff members I worked with were both kind, patient, informative and extremely friendly. All services performed were explained thoroughly before I agreed to anything, something that does not always happen with automotive repair centers! They were also more than happy to answer my man questions, never seeming at all annoyed with me. I am also pleased to say that my car was completed on time. I just thought you should know that the representatives of AAMCO are excellent. I will always recommend them to anyone!

Great timely service. I'm always taken care of at this Aamco. My jeep has over 250,000 miles on it, and needs constant maintenance. I'm the original owner of this vehicle, I'm very familiar with is, and can practically predict what is going to go down next. I completely trust Enrique, Sam, and the others. They have allowed me to make payments on the more expensive repairs, and have given me a lift home or to work when I've had to leave it over night. Heck, they've even done some minor repair for free. I feel like a valued customer.

I took my '87 Supra to these guys when my transmission started crapping out. I was hesitant about going to a place that's advertised, but ended up paying $1900 for a tranny rebuild, which seemed reasonable to me. Now it's shifting smoother then ever.

I just want to write a quick note about these guys in Glendale. I’ve had my share of experiences with other repair shops but AAMCO Glendale really treat their customers EXCELLENT.

This is now my 3rd time working with these guys and they are STELLAR when it comes to customer service and explaining in detail the repairs needed. My family also brings their cars here too.

So many positive things to say about this shop but I gatta run.

I have a 1987 Honda CRX with 270,000 miles. It has some issues, but overall is a decent car. I had been told by many people, friends and mechanics, that I needed a new transmission and that to rebuild the transmission would easily cost over $2000. Enrique at AAMCO looked at it and told me that the problem was not the transmission and had something to do with the engine. He explained how easy it is misdiagnose this particular problem. My car was fixed for much less than I was prepared to spend.



Everyone has come to expect that mechanics are shady, yet Enrique is almost honest to a fault. So I tell everyone how great he is so that he can get more business to make up for the fact that he doesn't screw anyone over.
