        Overall

        Mom is staying at Bella Vita Rehabilitation in Glendale, AZ.

        Funny thing is I wrote the following review on their Facebook page and shared it. Next thing happened is that it all got deleted...quickly! I cannot locate or access their FB page now.

        "Today, Mom told me she had summoned the staff to assist her to the restroom several times and no one would come. The inevitable happened before I got there and I went straight to go to the control center and demanded an aide to change her. Why are centers like this so understaffed or unresponsive?

        Mom is getting released on Monday thank God."



        This is totally unacceptable. And does fall under "Patient/Elder Abuse/Neglect" of which they can be sued and closed down for violations of care. This is truly a serious violation of patient care. Along with the other issues I had been told of while she is there. She was neglected food, food taken from her, theft from her purse, and whom knows what else. Maybe an attorney does need to be solicited. There are governing boards for these facilities that should be contacted.
