Â€œI started practicing general dentistry in 1984. As the son of a dentist who taught me to always provide the finest treatment available for my patients, I was routinely disappointed at the mediocre results that my patients would have once they completed treatment with their orthodontists. Most of the time, my patientâ€™s teeth were straight. However, their smiles were not better, and their bites were almost never corrected properly. I became increasingly frustrated, as the concerns that I expressed on behalf of my patients to the treating orthodontists seemed to fall on deaf ears. Nothing ever changed. Year after year, the results were the same.
