        Established in 1956, Valley Mill Camp is spread over an area of more than 60 acres and features pools, lakes and other local attractions. It organizes several recreational and social activities, such as boating, hiking, birthday parties and swimming. The camp organizes several camps for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14. Valley Mill Camp conducts various programs that focus on the development of athletic skills. It additionally provides transportation and counseling services. The camp also organizes various leisure activities, such as horse riding, rock climbing, canoeing and kayaking, and arts and crafts. Valley Mill Camp operates a counselor in training program for the development of leadership skills in children between the ages of 14 and 15. It provides instructional classes in soccer, shooting and gymnastics and is located in Germantown, Md.
