Not a good experience at all ... My girl was very friendly but towards the end I think she got too caught up in wanting to get out of there for the day that she forgot what she was suppose to be doing!!

She was in such a hurry to rush me out the door that she didn't even give me the opportunity to see the back of my hair. At first I really didn't think much about it but once I was able to check things out at home I realized my hair was totally lopsided ... not just slightly ... a good half inch or more. They were closed and it was the weekend so I waited to call in on Monday. I explained that I had just got a hair cut and needed to come in and get it fixed because it was lopsided ... the receptionist really didn't act like it was a big deal and told me that my girl was completely book for the next few days. Didn't even offer to "work me in" or take care of it.

I ended up having to go somewhere else to get it fixed because there was no way I was going to wait 3-4 days to have my hair fixed. That's just ridiculous!! And as it turned out NONE of my layers were even ... they were all over the place!! Luckily we were able to turn it around into a decent looking style but it was way shorter than I started out wanting.

I DEFINITELY will not be going back!!

Sutra is hands down the best salon & spa you will find anywhere in or around Georgetown. The staff is killer. So kind and professional. I get top quality service every time. Their services are worth every dime! I've been going for 5 years strong, and won't go anywhere else.

I have gone to Jennifer for years now, and I wouldn't trade her for anyone! FABULOUS master stylist who is a true artist with cut and color. SO hard to find talent like this! Georgetown is blessed to have her. I highly recommend Sutra Salon & Spa!

We moved to Georgetown, and I had a good experience at an Aveda salon in the town we formerly lived in, so I figured Sutra would offer the same level of service. Sad to say, absolutely not. When i got there, the receptionist told me that the stylist was at lunch and would I be willing to wait? I agreed, although the time I had scheduled obviously interferred with her lunch hour, which is somebody's fault...stylist/receptionist...whomever for scheduling it then. So, I patiently waited for 30 minutes until the stylist came bebopping in, and never apologized, or said a word

to me until the receptionist told her she had a client. I was not a walk in. The haircut I wanted was a basic bob with layers, and the stylist couldn't even deliver! She didn't offer to let me see the back of the cut, when washing the soap out burned me on the scalp several times, and totally soaked the back of my shirt. I was so irritated by this time I just paid for the haircut and left. After I got home, I discovered that the haircut was an inch longer on one side than the other, and the layers did not flow...they were choppy and she had actually cut off a chunk of hair only a half inch from my scalp so I looked like Alfalfa on our gang. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy...bad service, bad haircut, nonchalant stylist, and the price was not cheap. From now on I'm going somewhere else! Don't go to this overpriced chop house!
