Brookside Resort

Perfect location! We walked to town and enjoyed tasting different wines and spirits handcrafted as we watched. There is a babbling brook out back with Rainbow Trout and we even saw a Moma Black Bear with her young Cubs. We will be back!!!

This was a great deal and made our family trip much more enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again. The rooms were clean and the guest check in was pleasant. The gentleman behind the counter was very polite. The sound of the river was relaxing. The only thing I had an issue with was vending machines. There is a very small variety and one machine stole my money but that's all.

The location and value are amazing. Very close to downtown and still able to have peace if desired. The stream behind hotel is beautiful and allows for an amazing trip. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My wife an I stayed during Valentines weekend It was the most amazing weekend we have spent together, Not only for the love we share but the accomadations were just awesome. They provided a Valentines dinner with Elvis on premises for a very reasonable price,Which included a 4 course meal a bottle of wine and entertainment. That was a blessing at that point because finding a place for dinner on Valentines was relentless we never had to leave the parking lot. We will definitlely be booking at the resort again in the future. They are clean courteous and very neat, Thank you for making our Valentines weekend very special!!

We got a great deal through Amazon! We were just looking for a decent, inexpensive place to stay to attend a wedding in Gatlinburg. We were amazed because we got so much more than decent. The room was beautiful! It had a fire place and creek front balcony. We felt like it was our own little cabin. We also loved the pool and hot tub!

Brookside Resort was very clean and quite place to stay. My family loved the pool and the trolley to visit downtown. The price was affordable and breakfast was better than the continental stuff. Very friendly staff and service. I would stay again. The WiFi was slow but it was free. They had other attractions but we did not use them.

Gatlinburg has been a favorite vacation spot for me ever since 1965. This is by far the best hotel in town and a fair price also. I will stay at this Inn for years to come. it is just 1/2 mile walk to all the activity right in the center of town and a short drive to the local arts and crafts community.

we both enjoyed our stay..and yes we would stay there again....really like the brook on the back side of the room,it was very calming...we also enjoyed the free breakfast...the rooms where clean but dated....staff was very nice…

My husband and I spent an anniversary there, and my daughter and her friend have stayed there two times. It is clean, the breakfast is great, and the people friendly and helpful. The location next to the stream provides a romantic atmosphere. The pool is also pretty. Brookside Resort is the only place we stay when we go to Gatlinburg.

The room was clean and neat. The pool was nice. The people friendly and helpful. I had always wanted to stay here and finally we did. We plan to return in November for a longer stay. I was pleasantly surprised at the room as it was large and quiet. Thank you.

This is such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay . It's just enough out-of-the-way to be out of the traffic but is close to everything. A good pancake breakfast is within walking distance if you decide not to enjoy the good breakfast they serve there and there's a good barbecue right across the street. Rooms are neat and clean .

Absolutely love staying at Brookside Resort! The rooms are always clean and fresh! Staff is very friendly and knowledgable! My husband and I stay at Brookside at least 2 times a year! We love the honeymoon suites, so cozy and romantic with the fireplace and jacuzzi!!

My boyfriend and I found this adorable hotel through Groupon, and it was such a great choice! We stayed in a room overlooking the river, with a romantic fireplace and spacious king-size bed; the view was gorgeous and the location was perfect for us - close enough to the touristy downtown areas, but far enough away so it still felt peaceful and private. The housekeeping staff is incredible - every morning we had a fresh set of towels and more coffee waiting for us when we got back from breakfast (included with the stay!). There's also an outdoor pool and playground for kids, as well as a fitness center and free wifi, so definitely family friendly.... and for the price, you just can't beat it! Can't wait to come back :)

Was a beautiful hotel with a great view of the river right out of our back foot! Carpets and bathroom sink were slightly outdated but the size of the room and the view more than made up for it! Staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was great!

We loved this place so much last year we reserved the same room for our visit this year. Upon arrival our reserved room could not be occupied due yo maintenance issues so we were upgraded to a larger room with fireplace and jacuzzi tub. And they honored the lower rate for the original room! We were astonished! Front desk staff was very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with the office dog too! This place is a hidden treasure and U.S. By far the best deal in town. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Our assigned room was flooded the morning we were to arrive. The hotel quickly prepared another room for us before we arrived. They did a great job considering they were fully booked for the weekend. Overall, a great room, great location at a great price.

We come back as often as possible to Brookside Resort. We love the family atmosphere and spend many enjoyable moments on the private balcony just soaking up the relaxing view and sounds of the mountain stream. We have found the staff to be friendly and efficient, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast is more than adequate. (I love the oatmeal with the wonderful selection of toppings.) The Brookside Resort is close to all the activity of Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge without all the noise and congestion! We highly recommend it.

We got a room away from the main building. Our room had a back door that we to out to the brook. It was shaded and you couldn't hear the cars going right by because of the water in brook. Very nice and calming. My son loves the main pool cause it has a waterfall and 2 small water slides. The hot tub was enjoyable too. The wifi was so slow that it kept kicking us off but that was the only negative thing.

We enjoyed our stay at Brookside. It is a hotel that is cute in a kind of retro way! Everything in our room was outdated but in a nice way. It made me feel like I was in my Grandma's house. Comfy and cozy. But, the best thing for us was how dog friendly this location was. We had a private porch that overlooked the brook and my puppy loved to sit on the patio and watch the water. And, the bus stop directly in front of the hotel was convenient. We will stay here again next time we are in the area!

Nestled next to the nicest stream in Gatlinburg, Brookside Resort offers you a secluded setting while still being close to the restaurants and tourist attractions of downtown Gatlinburg. It has a super fun pool that my kids spend hours swimming in - both in the morning and for night swimming under the glow of the lights from the waterfall. They also love to play in the stream next to our room. It is such a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Smokies while being near the fun of Gatlinburg. I would highly recommend this hotel!
