I always have a good experience here. I have short hair, and am able to get a great cut quickly with no pressure to pay for a shampoo or styling. Amy has been my stylist for many years and I'd never go anywhere else.

This place is always so dirty. I got a haircut there once and a simple trim was beyond uneven and was way shorter than I asked for. Also, all the employees looked and acted miserable. They all had such bad attitudes. I won't be returning

Often, I find that going to a place that accepts mostly walk-ins may turn out to be a disaster. Not so, with Rob Roy in Gardner. I walked in needing a haircut so badly, I was willing to risk ending up with a not-so-perfect cut. I was seated immediately, and had a prime view of the action going on in the salon. The atmosphere was fun and casual, and the hairdressers were talkative, but not abnoxious. I didn't feel as if I was an outsider listening in on someone's conversation, just that the conversation was going and everyone was welcome. My hairdresser, Courtney, was probably the best I've had yet. She was very friendly, but not overly bubbly or ditzy. She was interested and asked questions, but was not prying or personal. Plus, I told her what I wanted done to my hair, and she did just that. Perfectly. So much for getting a so-so cut at a walk-in place. I liked my stylist, I liked the prices, and I loved my hair. That's what it's all about, folks.

I have been going to this salon for 20 years and I would never change! I am not the type of person that likes to make a hair appt. a month in advance. When I decide I want a change, I want it right away. I have never had a hard time getting an appt. for the same day. Never been disappointed when I leave.
