John Wayne Abernathy and his incredibly blessed staff far exceeded our expectations on handling my father's services. Mr. Abernathy took my call before business hours and we met to make arrangements for my father. We were immediately treated like family and welcomed with open arms. Mr. Abernathy listened to our needs, answered questions with sheer professionalism, discussed the packages that best fit our needs, and allowed us to pick and choose what would fit our families budget best. There is options that fit any budget and we were not pressured to get more than we needed. We were in and out within 30-45 minutes. We were able to get options for monuments to go on my fathers grave as well-one stop shop! :) God equipped Mr. Abernathy with a calling to this ministry and it shows. Preparing for a funeral is extremely difficult and we all have to do it at some point in our lives. I highly recommend Ward's Funeral Home in Gainesville to handle your needs for your loved ones. Everything was PERFECT from start to finish! My father looked the best he has looked in over 10 years, wow it was certainly impressive. My father was finally at peace. From preparing my fathers body, to handling our servicing needs, to set-up at the grave site to getting my father to his final resting place beside my mother; AMAZING!!!!
