05/13/2013 I recently discovered this and need to respond. I know that what has been said will always put some doubt in the minds of those who read it. So thank you for taking the time to read my response. I had agreed to donate a Custom Portrait package to the charity. I asked did they want a sample so they could get better bids for the Charity. It was agreed that that would be nice and then when it got close to the event I found that it would be helpful to them for me to deliver and pick up the sample. At the en d of the night when I returned to pick up the sample no on had any idea of where it might be. The framed piece of art was found thrown under a table where it could have been damaged This is not only disrespectful to the sample but to the donor as well. How many other donors were also disrespected? How many other donors items were treated with the same lack of respect. While they looked for my sample I found the promoter of the event and while talking to him he had no idea of what had happened to the sample. It upset me that he didn't seem overly concerned and as i was leaving someone said they would take better care next time. At that point my response meant only to the person that said that and the promoter was that there would not be a next time or for any event that he was promoting. The person writing this must have been standing near or as i was lead to believe by someone she worked for him. She has never contacted me with the certificate so she has no knowledge of how well she would have been treated and the true value of the item she had bid on.
