Riverview Regional Medical Center

They billed me for a procedure I had done 2 years ago. There was not a statement telling me if they had billed my insurance. I do not have the same insurance now. I called and was told by a billing company in another state that they had just received it and couldn't tell me anything and I would have to contact old insurance company.

A very good hospital.
The Dietary staff do an excellent job there.

ER DR. Refused treatment(didn't even look at me) when I had a card to explain exactly what they needed to do. I had to go to another Hospital for treatment. DON'T GO THERE!!! Still Billed ME and BC/BS.

Best Hospital in Alabama. Although INCOMPETENCE is rampant in today's society, you'll find LESS of it HERE!

I would never use this hospital. The nurse who took care of me actually eavesdropped on my conversations and didn't deny it when I confronted her. Everyone there was judgmental of me and the reason I was there, even the staff doctor. I hated every minute and I finally left against medical advice. I just can't ever recommend anybody going there if they have the opportunity to choose another facility.

The staff are beyond rude. My mother was admitted earlier for having a stroke, and they've yet tto clean her a room. I politely asked them when it would be ready (just a few minutes ago, mind you) and a manly woman snapped on me saying I should wait like the others and that her room would be ready soon. My mother's. back had also been hurting, and when she asked for medicine, they accused her of abusing drugs. The sheets are filthy and literally covered with holes, very little work has been put into making it a homey environment, and it smells like a baby's wet diaper and generic Lysol. I'm actually considering reporting this place to the Better Business Bureau or something. People, if you have a sick person PR any emergency, I recommende ANY place but Riverview Hospital.

I RECENT SPENT 4 DAYS IN HOSPITAL. I'M DIETIBTC AND FOUND DETARY DEPT IN AQUATE FOR MY DIET. I TAKE COUMMINAN (BLOOD THINNER ON REGULAR BASIC .DID'NT GET COUMMINAN FOR TWO DAYS.I FIEEL I WAS SENT HOME EARLY BECAUSE I COMPLANTED TO DR'S ABOUT MY MEDICINE.I COULD NOT RECCOMMED TO ANYONE
