The Gadsden Water Works and Sewer Board is operated by the government of the city of Gadsden in Alabama. The board supplies water to more than 14,600 customers. It maintains over 15 storage tanks that has a capacity of nearly 17 million gallons of water. The Gadsden Water Works and Sewer Board s distribution system includes approximately 400 miles of pipeline. The board s water treatment plant uses water from the Coosa River. In addition, the board has booster pump stations. The Gadsden Water Works and Sewer Board serves residential and commercial clients. The board sells portable water to Highland and Southside water systems.
