Like many people this winter, I was sick with what was probably the flu. I waited over a week before I had the energy to call my doctor to schedule a sick visit. They were unable to see me due to the amount of sick patients on their schedule this week and advised me to seek an urgent care facility. I live in Maple Lawn and remembered the CVS minute clinic sign. I didn't know what to expect. This is what I got: A NP who had excellent bedside manner , excellent health care was given and two prescriptions for my illness all of which happened within an hour. Jen was the Nurse Practitioner who eased my anxiety, listened attentively to my history and relieved my concerns. I highly recommend this gem for any health issues short of broken bones and lacerations.
