Southern Cart Works came to the house to perform several repairs on our older golf cart; he always took time to explain what needed to be done and discuss options to fix the problems. We’ve found them to be reliable, reasonable, and trustworthy every time.

The owner of this place is the best golf cart mechanic in The Villages hands down. After being screwed over by 3 other competitors, I was informed that the owner of Southern Cart Works fixes what everybody else can not. Sure enough Brian (owner) fixed my cart and delivered it to me next day. I have since heard of Brian's abilities from other Villagers since having the work done. My cart will never go anywhere else!

I had a Yamaha gas cart built from them after shopping around. They offered many options and had the best prices. I later found out that Southern Cart Works is the place other mechanics send motors to be rebuilt. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I had my grandfathers cart completely upgraded as a Christmas suprise and let me tell you Southern Cart Works did an amazing job! From the paint job down to the new seats it looked like a brand new cart! We now have his cart serviced every 6 months and they are always timely in the return of his cart. If there ever was a time it would take longer than a day for his repairs they would generously offer a loaner in the meantime so he would not miss any tee times! Thank you Southern Cart Works for everything you do to go out of your way to make your customers happy!

BEWARE !! I just had the worst experience at SOUTHERN CART WORKS... Five days earlier on a Thursday I dropped off my cart to have it checked out and repaired the following day I received a call that they found the problem and the part was ordered and would be in Monday, I called them on at 10 am on Wednesday and was told they would check on status and call me back by 3:00 Ihaving not heard back from them I called to again check on the status of my cart, after asking several questions as to why I had been ignored the women who I believe to be the owner became so belligerent that is was impossible to carry on a normal conversation she was the most obnoxious individual I have ever spoke to unable to get a word in through her ramblings she then said o picked up my cart it will be left outside, as I tried and tried over and over again to explain what was the problem with the cart the she couldn't seem to speak without sounding like a a yip-pity little dog looking for it's next meal ( sorry if I offended any dogs because they have more class the she ever could imagine ). This seems to be a very dysfunctional group/family....an accident waiting to happen. Do yourself a favor, and avoid this place. Thank you for taking the time to read this...spread the word, and you may just save someone from being ripped off, and lied too. Not to mention the ramblings off a obnoxious woman !
