General Info
This 620 acre park is home to the state's second largest Live Oak tree that's estimated to be about 400 years old. A short walking trail that starts close to the park's ranger station allows you to get an even closer look. A canal connects the park to Lake Griffin, where visitors can enjoy boating, fishing and canoeing. Don't have your own boat? Don't worry, we rent them here! For only $6.00/hr you can explore the waterways via canoe or kayak. If you'd prefer to stay on land you can observe the park's wildlife while picnicking or strolling along the nature trail. If you need more than a day to explore a shady, full-facility campground is available. Please note, while there are places to swim close by, no swimming is allowed in the park. This 620 acre park is home to the state's second largest Live Oak tree that's estimated to be about 400 years old.
