Best prime rib in Fresno. A forgotten treasure. They serve the best bread pudding with rum sauce I have ever had. And our favorite waitress is Charlie, what a pleasant women. Had a great time and will definite go back often even if it's just for the bread pudding, if you think the cracked pepper has good bread pudding, then you will love this one, far better than cracked pepper

Had dinner last Friday evening. We had great food and the service was outstanding. I think her name was Charlene. She made us feel as though we were regular customers. We will be now ! Richards is like restaurants of a long time ago. The best place ever ... we will be back !

Richard sold the restaurant and it went downhill. He is back, and so is the wonderful food and service! If you want great food, wonderful service and not have to break the bank...go to Richard's!

- Fresno's Classic Dinning Experience , Serving Quality Steaks and Seafood Since 1969.Richard Stockle opened Richard's Prime Rib & Seafood on Belmont Ave. in downtown Fresno in the summer of 1969, and original plans called for a beer bar, a couple of pool tables and offered some gaming on the side. When expenses came to be too much during preparations, the entrepreneur decided to scratch the orginal plans and turn the establishment into a restaurant. Richard's became a Fresno hotspot for its juicy steaks and fresh seafood. Richard's is a true family-run restaurant. Richard's grandson Ben remembers Thanksgivings spent at Richard's when he was a kid, when the Stockle family would shut the business down for the holiday occasion. Ben now serves as the restaurant's Vice President and C.O.O.
