Spalding Piano

I had Michael Spalding restore our family's old upright piano for us. I had seen the restoration of the church's baby grand piano on his website (spaldingpiano.com) and knew I had run into a master craftsman. I originally asked him to tune it, but after speaking with him and having him demonstrate what he was talking about, I had him do a major restoration.



Michael is as much of a teacher as he is a musician, and as much of a musician as he is an expert piano restorer. He's licensed, but he's also dedicated. He wanted me to know why he was doing what he was doing, and using the materials he was using. It was a thrill to be a part of it, and we now have a family heirloom we enjoy daily.
