        We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. We rescue from high kill shelters in Virginia and other states. We have a variety of breeds, and sizes of dogs available for adoption. You can find a list of adoptable dogs here https://www.petfinder.com/animal-shelters-and-rescues/search/?location=22408&shelter_name=old+dominion+humane+society We have adoption events every Sat 12-4pm at 3602 Lafayette Blvd. suite 102 Fredericksburg Virginia. We do not have a shelter location. All of our dogs are in foster homes. Our process is easy. You fill out an application, we do a quick background check, then we have you fill out a contract. Most times dogs can go home the same day. We are always in need of foster families and volunteers. Donations are greatly appreciated. We are in need of cleaning supplies, towels and blankets. We feed Verus dog food which can be purchased at Dog Krazy!"

        Overall

        We adopted our dog from Old Dominion and we couldn't of picked a better place to do so. When we spoke with the owner you tell how passionate she is about the Humane Society. It is very well organized and the vision of this Humane Society is great. We highly recommend this Humane Society to anyone looking to adopt a pet.
