General Info: The Water and Sewer Department provides safe drinking water and processes ewage and waste back to Harpeth River in Tennessee. It maintains city's water and wastewater lines, mains and pumping stations, and operates water and wastewater plants. The department also maintains records, prepares and administers water and wastewater annual budgets, approves construction plans, enforces ordinances and monitors staff requirements. Located in Franklin, Tenn., the Water and Sewer Department is a part of the city of Franklin, Tenn., which operates administration, engineering, finance, human resources, law, planning and police departments.
