Summit Montessori School

This school may not be a good choice for parents going through divorce type issues which is a sad reality for many. The faculty was not cooperative in sharing our child's school records or any other pertinent information regarding our child's education and overall well-being. Summit Montessori made it very expensive, time-consuming, and difficult to obtain the school records that I was legally entitled to. Summit Montessori has continually ignored many of the telltale signs of parental alienation and coercive control which are serious issues that should not be ignored by mandated reporters. This school does not offer a safe space for children to have both parents involved in their educational experience. Although Summit Montessori is supposed to promote the Montessori philosophy and other virtues, this school is not welcoming or inclusive toward the lower income earning parent. That might have something to do with the other parent being a big donor. This private school has bills to pay like every other business does. If open and transparent communication and cooperation toward both parents is something you expect from your child's school teachers and administration, it may be better to seek other alternatives.
