GREEN FARM MARKET OWNER THREATENED TO CALL COPS OVER PRICE CHECKING APP: CUSTOMERS WITH CELLPHONES BEWARE!



I was a regular until finding out what this store is like when dealing with a misunderstanding. I made the mistake of openly using a price check app on my phone to research customer reviews & compare prices. After 20 to 30 minutes of shopping I noticed a few of the store employees stalking me & sneaking up from behind me to spy on my phone screen.



Apparently, the store owner was under the suspicion that I had been using my phone to take surveillance pictures of products for his competitors, so he had his workers follow me around the entire store. Before sending his manager to speak to me in private, he took it upon himself to make a scene by confronting me in front of other customers by the checkout lanes.



He & the security officer started making accusations before I could explain myself & demanded that I show them the contents of my camera roll (which I warned them is an invasion of privacy...a concept they didn't seem to understand). In an effort to clear up any misunderstanding I allowed the store owner & security guard to look through my photos, showing them the app I was using.



Failing to find incriminating evidence after looking through my pictures, they remained unconvinced . Nonetheless, the store owner retaliated by threatening to call the police--under the assumption that I had to be hiding the photos somewhere else. He was sure that I was stealing even after seeing that my shopping cart was full of items.



Judging by the way they handled this situation I'll be doing my shopping in the other nearby supermarkets from now on. In the unlikely event that I buy anything else from this store I'll be bringing a health code inspector along so that I don't end up buying mold-infested noodles to return again. Several of the coffee packets I had in my cart were two months past the expiration date & about half a dozen on the shelf were expired as well. So, make sure you check each item carefully when you buy anything from this store. Apparently, this store is named "Green" to describe the color of mold--the same stuff that grows on expired food.

I really enjoyed the shopping experience in this place. There are less customer that is why you can do your shopping in peace. The crew is polite as well.
