I don't ever write reviews, in fact, this is my first. But, it is warranted in this case.

I purchased two dining chairs online on 1/14/12. After 2 weeks with no chairs, call or email I began calling regularly to follow up as I was starting to get impatient. This store had already charged my credit card.

I was told that they would be in that week. No dice. Then I was told they would be in the following week. Again, no chairs. After my 3rd or 4th call and about 5 weeks I was told that the catalog number had changed for those chairs and that was causing the delay. They identified the new Cat. number and told me that the had them in stock. I checked the website to confirm that they had identified the correct catalog number. They had not. I was about to waste at least an hour and half of my time and some gas to go pick up the wrong chairs.

At this point I told them to simply cancel my order and I was informed that they could not..."all sales are final". After a day or two however the manger, Richard, finally called me back and told me that the chairs I ordered have been discontinued and that I would be given a full refund. A week later, still no refund.

So, I called my credit card company and asked them to reverse the charges. Chase did it that day. THAT is some quality customer service!

Stay away from this place. If you simply cannot resist the cheap prices, be sure to buy with a credit card. But, the prices really aren't all that great. I have found several better deals. It just isn't worth the hassle.

liars!!! they have a "no refun...

liars!!! they have a "no refund" policy for a reason and its definitively not to benefit the customer. That should have been my red flag moment. i Bought couches on the 2cnd were suppose to be delivered by the 8th or 9th and they still are not here, and they arent calling me or even returning my calls. They start super nice and use the word "honestly" a lot and now the true colors are coming out. I been trying to just get my money back but im told there is nothing they can do and i am stuck. I HAVE NOT COUCHES NOW AND NO MONEY FOR ONES!! BAD BUSINESS!!

Poor Quality, Bad Service

When I first arrived at Furniture Outlet I was excited the furniture looked nice and the sales person was really friendly and helpful. I originally only wanted to buy a sofa set that I found on the website for $579; the pricing of course is what drew me there in the first place. I ended up buying a bed frame and mattress too because we were going to get a discount for buying more. So when it came down to it, the discount was really only $20. Anyway that’s not my real gripe, the salesperson that helped us said that our furniture would be ready for pick up by Wednesday, that it all they had to do was pick it up from their warehouse. The order was placed on Sunday, so we figured getting rid of our old sofas was perfectly fine; we would just be without sofas for 3 days, 5 at the most. That was not the case, I called Friday and Saturday and no one could help me with my order I had to wait until Monday to find out that my order would not be ready for about another 10 days. And that was only for the sofas. I couldn’t even get an ETA for the bed frame. To make a long story short, we finally got order complete 2 months later. You get what you pay for, the quality is poor and the service is horrible. And the mattress stinks, my back is killing me. And don't buy the extended warranty on the sofa's if you lose the card they give you, you are out of luck! Atleast that's what I was told.
